SCHUFA Holding AG, the leading service provider for credit
information in Germany and Creditinfo Group hf., a leading provider of
risk management solutions in eleven European countries, combined their
competencies in the joint venture Creditinfo SCHUFA GmbH. Each party
owns 50% of the new company, which is located with its headquarters in
Wiesbaden/Germany. It is jointly managed by Reynir
Grétarsson, the CEO of Creditinfo Group, and Dieter Steinbauer, Member
of the Executive Board of SCHUFA, in the capacities of joint Managing
Directors.
Creditinfo SCHUFA has developed, through its multiple subsidiaries, numerous products and services from official and customer information sources to facilitate best practice decisioning in credit risk management and has been the preferred partner of local Credit Bureaus. Our strength is the establishing of credit bureaus in emerging credit markets and hosting, managing and providing credit and credit related data to customers throughout Europe, either directly or through our partner agreements.
